Fancy Fold card/Mini Album – World of Good suite

Today’s card is a Fancy Fold card that can also be used as a mini album.
This card does require a lot of cardstock and designer series paper so would better to give as a ‘special’ card.

There would be plenty of room to add photographs from the special event.
I decided to make an Anniversary card to give to a male and a Wedding card.

All measurements, materials and instructions on how to make this project is below.

Measurements

Early Espresso cardstock – 12” x 9” – (30.5 cm x 22.8 cm)
2 x Early Espresso cardstock – 9 1/8” x 3 1/8” – (23.1 cm x 7.39 cm)
2 x Brass Foil sheet –  8 5/8” x 2 5/8” – (21.9 cm x 6.6 cm)
2 x World of Good Designer Series Paper (DSP) – 8 ½” x 2 ½” – (21.6 cm x 6.3 cm)
16 x Brass Foil sheet – 2 ¾” x 2 ¾” – (7 cm x 7 cm)
8 x 1st design of World of Good DSP – 2 ½” x 2 ½” – (6.3 cm x 6.3 cm)
8 x 2nd design of World of Good DSP – 2 ½” x 2 ½” – (6.3 cm x 6.3 cm)
8 x Brass Foil sheet – 2 ¾” x 1 ¼” – (7 cm x 3.2 cm)
4 x 1st design of World of Good DSP – 2 ½” x 1” – (6.3 cm x 2.5 cm)
4 x 2nd design of World of Good DSP – 2 ½” x 1” – (6.3 cm x 2.5 cm)
2 pieces of Early Espresso cardstock for sentiments inside of card
Pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock for sentiments
Pieces of Brass Foil sheet and DSP for globe and stand die cuts

Take your Early Espresso cardstock – 12” x 9” – (30.5 cm x 22.8 cm) and your trimmer and score along the 12″ edge at 3″, 6″ and 9″

Rotate 90 degrees and line the edge of the cardstock at 3″, move your blade to the centre and close the track.
Push the blade up to the 1 1/2 ” mark and then down to the 10 1/2 ” mark. Rotate 180 degrees and repeat.
Score in between the cuts you have just made.

Your cardstock should now look like the image above.

Fold your score lines as per the images above, to note, each score line will be the opposite to its neighbour so the first score line will be a Valley fold and the next score line will be a Mountain fold etc.

Turn the card over and apply the 2 x Early Espresso cardstock – 9 1/8” x 3 1/8” – (23.1 cm x 7.39 cm) on each side.
For reference, these are the pieces that have the globes on, on the left and the right. They will be slightly bigger than the card base.

The images below are what the card looks like on the back.

Finally, adhere all the mats and layers as you wish.
